About
Systems engineering and geospatial solutions for operationally demanding environments
Spatial Nexus is a compact, senior team merging GIS delivery with systems engineering practice. We’re built for organisations that need spatial intelligence to hold up under operational pressure, with requirements you can trace and outcomes you can verify.
Our throughline. We are specialists with complementary depth: a geospatial practitioner focused on delivery and adoption, and a systems engineer with defence and medical technology experience focused on reliability, risk, and verification. We handle requirements baselining, build, QA, documentation, and handover.
Industries. Transport infrastructure, government, mining & exploration, environmental monitoring, and regulated medical tech environments. We speak both operational urgency and lifecycle governance.
- ArcGIS Enterprise/Online, Experience Builder, secure deployments
- FME Flow/Form automation with QA, logging, and governance
- Systems engineering assurance, risk logs, and validation evidence
- Metadata, data dictionaries, schema standards, and handover packs with acceptance criteria
How we work
- Outcome-first: start with the decision or workflow that needs to change.
- Small increments: ship working slices quickly, then harden.
- Observability: logs, validation, and alerts baked in.
- Verification: check results against agreed requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Documentation: runbooks, data lineage, and training so teams are independent.
Clear, calm, and transparent. We facilitate workshops, capture stakeholder needs and constraints, and write concise updates for technical and non-technical stakeholders. We can lead, pair, or support in-house teams.
Principles we stand by
Our adoption playbooks are grounded in time proven best practices — to make change measurable and sustainable.
We give early value (diagnostics, insights) and align on shared success metrics and validation points to sustain momentum.
We bring anonymised benchmarks, system evidence, and formal systems engineering practices with verification trails.
We co-create with your team, operate as one unit, and protect focus by limiting concurrent projects and clarifying interfaces.
